Michel Emile Chammas
Michel Emile Chammas is an energy industry entrepreneur, engineering leader, and community advocate whose career has spanned more than four decades of innovation, business development, and civic engagement.
Born in Chekka, North Lebanon, Chammas moved to the United States to pursue higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1984. Following his graduation, he began his professional career in Houston, Texas, where he established himself as a leader in specialized oilfield technologies and industrial innovation.
Jessica Joseph Azar
Jessica Joseph Azar is a Lebanese journalist, public affairs professional, and civic advocate with more than a decade of experience at the intersection of media, politics, and social impact. Her work has focused on advancing public dialogue, empowering youth, and promoting greater participation in civic life.
A graduate with honors from Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Jessica began her career in 2007 at Nahar Al Shabab, the youth-focused publication of An-Nahar newspaper, where she worked to amplify young voices and encourage civic engagement. During the same period, she served as Minister of Sports and Youth in the Youth Shadow Government, contributing to initiatives focused on youth development and social well-being. She also joined Now Lebanon, an independent digital media platform that supported emerging journalists and open expression.
