George Wadih Ghajar is a global logistics executive and business leader with more than two decades of experience driving international growth, operational transformation, and strategic market development within the global logistics industry.

During his tenure with DHL Global Forwarding, Ghajar held senior leadership roles overseeing business development, regional operations, and market expansion across the United States, the Middle East, and Africa. As Global Vice President of Business Development for USA–MEA from 2020 to 2024, he led initiatives to strengthen international trade relationships, expand logistics networks, and enhance collaboration across markets. Under his leadership, key trade corridors between the United States and the Middle East–Africa region experienced significant growth, supported by strategic partnerships and customer-focused solutions.

Previously, Ghajar served as Global CEO for North Africa and the Levant from 2011 to 2020, where he was responsible for the performance and strategic direction of multiple operating entities and partner networks. He led complex business transformations across diverse markets, delivering sustained growth while strengthening operational performance and organizational resilience. Earlier, as Global Country Manager for Lebanon from 2003 to 2011, he guided the organization through challenging economic and geopolitical conditions, developing customer-focused strategies that contributed to substantial business expansion.

Ghajar earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) and continues to contribute to the institution through his service as a Board Member of the NDU Alumni Association. His professional journey reflects a commitment to strategic leadership, international collaboration, and building organizations capable of achieving sustainable growth in dynamic global environments.

Through his work in global logistics and his engagement with academic and professional communities, Ghajar continues to support the development of future leaders and the advancement of internationally connected business ecosystems.
